Interlibrary Loans - now made easier!

If you've been searching for articles using the library's databases recently, you may have noticed a new link labeled "Interlibrary Loan". This link allows you to quickly and easily place a request for an article to be sent from another library.

Here's how it works: If you find an article where the full-text is not available in Horrmann Library, just click on the "Interlibrary Loan" link directly from the database citation (click images for larger view):

Then, just fill out your name, email, and phone number on the form, and click "Submit". That's it - no need to enter the citation information, it is automatically entered on the form for you. Less typing and less hassle! You can choose to pick up your article at the library, or you can have the article emailed directly to your Wagner email account as a pdf file.

The interlibrary loan request link currently works with the following Horrmann Library databases and indexes:

Academic Search Premier
Biological Abstracts
Business Source Premier
CINAHL Nursing Index
Education Research Complete
ERIC
General Science Collection
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
MLA International Bibliography
Medline
Philosopher's Index
PsycInfo
Sociological Abstracts

If you wish to request a non-periodical item such as a book, or an item from a database other than those listed above, you can still use our standard online ILL form, or you can stop by the Horrmann Library reference desk and fill out a paper request form.

For further assistance, please call the Reference Desk at 390-3402, or email us at library@wagner.edu.
